New research explains how the brain determines a nutrient imbalance

You probably know that a well balanced diet full of vitamins and nutrients is essential to your overall health and well being, but did you know that your brain processes can be altered when you have an imbalance of nutrients?
According to a study conducted by the University of Cambridge, the brain detects and processes all nutrients consumed. The nutrients consumed therefore have an effect on the functioning of the brain cells. Functions such as arousal, concentration and balance can be especially affected, the study explains.
"However, while certain specialized neurons are known to sense individual nutrients, such as the sugar glucose, it remains unclear how typical dietary combinations of nutrients affect energy balance-regulating brain circuits," says study lead author, Dr. Denis Burdakov.
In order to make sure your body and brain are getting all of the proper vitamins and nutrients, consider taking an all natural supplement from Dr. Newton's Naturals. Dr. Pinkus' Sublingual D-3, for instance, increases vitamin D levels, enhances memory and supports the immune system.
Dr. Newton's Naturals has a supplement to help any vitamin deficiency and promote overall wellness.
